    I love John Lennon’s music, and message, in fact I have a tattoo that says “Imagine”, and when I saw Archuleta sing I told my wife “That was a religious experience.” I know I was overstating it, but wow, what a talent.

    As we watched this young guy sing, I was ready to cringe and said to my partner “I don’t like this” after the first three notes. By the time my words came out I was changing my mind.
    This guy is amazing. If the show really cared for him, they’d just give him a contract now and let the others compete.
    Yes, he is that much ahead of anyone else… and David Hernandez was just great! Great and distant second!

    to take a song like ‘Imagine’ which has defined ‘perfection’in the lyrics as written by arguably the greatest song writer of all time…….and raise that bar of emotion to a level never before perceived, david has exceeded the perfection already awarded at the highest level previously understood, felt or experienced.
