We were so exhausted at the end of the day that we started making fun of the name of one of the kid (it was really not that funny) and could not stop laughing. We also had the result for the Baccaulauréat. As we expected my little sister passed it with flying colors. She got grades such as 19 in Latin or 16 in advanced english (I got 15 when I took the Baccalauréat) but I told her that considering that she was in this special class that we call "classe européenne" it is the least that was expected. European classes are in high school for kids who want to be better in a language spoken in the E.C. They have their usuall english class plus more hours plus the fact that some subject, instead of being taught in french as it should be, are taught in english (or spanish or german or italian). But the level is not lowered when they take tests so they have to be fluent in the foreign language they are taught in. Do I give the impression I am bragging about my little sister? Oh, this would be because I am!!! She did have a bad grade in literature but she had expected it. She had not manage her time correctly and had the time to answer to only one question. She still got an 8 which is bad but not closely as bad as it could have been. And 8 makes me guess that if she had managed her time better she would have had a terrific grade.
